Any ideas of how to remove the OEM partition from the 80GB fujitsu siemens
HDD and how to do that?

With data loss I would think Aefdisk could do it.
This bootable CD burnable ISO has aefdisk on it,

the command would be,

aefdisk \delall
once the cd disk has loaded.

Readme file included in .zip file.
Scanned with anti-virus but re-check on download.

Just remove it?

Partition Magic should see hidden partitions if FDISK
doesn't see it, as might a few other drive utilities but I
don't recall which would. Putting in a linux installation
disc and starting an install just long enough to see &
delete the parttion (then stopping installation) might work
too.
