I have 25 machines and they are from dell, now running
OEM - Win XP Pro. All are activated. Now, As part of the
corporate policies, i have to strengthen the XP, So i want
to have a computer, as a master where i will do all the
registry work, security, updates everything i want, then
sysprep, image it for distributio. Is it possibelt o do
with OEM licenses?..or shall i need to go for volume
licensing?. I am confused about the oem activation stuff!,
after sypreping and reimaging!

Last time I checked, you could not do that with OEM, you had to get volume
lics. I doubt this has changed.

Not using the price break you get with Volume Licensing when you have 5 or
more machines is criminally negligent at the worst, and a poor use of scarce
resources at the best.
