OE6 & Windows Messenger

Hi,

I have both Windows Messenger and MSN Messenger installed on my Windows XP
computer.

I much prefer MSN Messenger.

When I start OE6, Windows Messenger starts.
How can I get OE6 to start MSN Messenger instead of Windows Messenger

Greetings Leslie,

Unfortunately you can't, but what you can do is stop Windows Messenger from starting. To do
so, close Outlook Express, then download and run the following .reg file:

Jonathan,
Thanks that worked.
It would be nice if we could be free to chose whatever messenger program we
had to work with OE6.

For instance I use Trillium 2.

Yes that would be preferred, but that's not how it currently works...
