How do I add the outlook express icon to the quick
launch? Right now I have IE, show desktop and Windows
Media Player.

Thanks in advance

Try this:
1. Right-click on the TaskBar and click to clear the "Lock the Taskbar"
option
2. Right-click on an empty area of the Quick Launch toolbar and select "Open
Folder"
3. Copy and paste the OE shortchut icon into the Quick Launch folder

drag the shortcut or actual program icon onto the
quicklaunch. i think only 3 at a time can be on the
taskbar. the others you need to click the arrow.

you can have as many short cuts on the quick launch tool bar as you want.
Just remember that it's locked by default, and so that's probably why you
can't see all of them in there at a glance, instead having to push the
little >> arrow.

No, that's not correct. The size of the quick launch bar can be
varied (as long as the taskbar isn't locked). Just drag the right
edge of it to make it as big as you want.

Also note that, although the quick launch bar is on the task bar
by default, it doesn't have to be there. An alternative that can
work very well, especially for those running a large monitor at a
high resolution, is to drag the quick launch bar off the task bar
and to the left edge of the screen, where there's room to display
many more icons.
