OE not working after SP2

Since installing SP2 yesterday (XP Professional, laptop) everything seems to
be working fine except OE which cannot make a connection with my email server
(I'm using DSL and there's nothing wrong with the connection itself. IE is
working OK and I can see my email in Mailwasher and access it via my
provider's webmail but can't download it with OE. I've checked all the
settings and can't see what the problem is. I've disabled the Windows
Firewall in favour of Zone Alarm and returned virus control to Norton. What
am I missing?

Can you send out from OE?.. have you double checked your ISP mail accounts
in OE.. small typing mistakes often happen..

No, I can't send out either. And as to the ISP mail accounts, they haven't
changed since before installing SP2 when they were working fine.

Thanks, Mike. Problem solved in the meantime. I did another check of Zone
Alarm and found that OE's permissions had been changed (when I checked this
yesterday it was OK so I guess this problem may recur. At least I know where
to look!
