OE mail folder in WM

M

meron

Hello again,

After a successful import of my mail folders from OE to WM, one of my mail
folders disappeared. I found it in my documents folder as a DBX mail folder
and when I tried to import it to WM, I got the message that no messages
could be found which is not true as I used DBXtract and after extracting all
messages in the folder they were all there. I have to import the folder as
it was in OE because there are thousands of messages and all dated today's
date, instead of the actual date of each message and sender. Can someone
advise me how to import the entire mail folder in its OE format into my WM,
please !!!!!

Thanks.

Three questions about your situation.

Is it correct to assume you are moving your mail folders from Windows XP to
Windows Vista?

Are you moving the folders from OE to WM on the same computer or to another
computer.

What method did you use to to move OE to WM?

Your answers may assist in getting a usefull response although please know i
don't know how to do it either.

Create a new folder in WinMail and drag the eml files from Explorer and drop
them on top of the new folder message list to incorporate them into WinMail.
