OE hotkeys question

I accidentally found an OE hotkey that I could not find again, nor could
find in the Hotkeys list.

I had OE inbox open with a message header highlighted--then I think I hit
Ctrl + something and a NotePad window opened with the message in text.

This is a good thing, so I would like to use it but can't find it again.
Does anybody know how? Thanks
