OE has removed acccess

Win 2000 Pro

Have an e-mail with 2 attachments. Try to open the
attacthments and they are grayed-out. Open message and see
this message "OE has removed acccess to the following
unsafe attachments in your e-mail: xxxxx.pdf, xxxxx.pdf."
How can I get these atttachments? Are they stored
somewhere on my hard disk where I can get to them? How do
I keep this from happening, again?

olexpress... tools.. options security.... uncheck... do not allow
attachments... etc... apply ok
