OE removing attachments

Suzanne

Recently OE began removing attachments from incoming
messages with the message "OE removed access to the
following unsafe attachments in your mail:" then it
listed the subject of the attachment. I sent an
attachment to myself as a test and OE deleted it, too. OE
has also deleted attachments that I had previously
opened. I welcome suggestions how to fix this so I can
again get attachments.

Ah, another suffering from NSF-itis. Had you bothered to use
http://groups.google.com for its intended purpose you'd have found your
answer in less time that it took you to compose and post that message. You'd
also have learnt that this is an OUTLOOK group, and OE posts are off topic
here.

This is an FAQ, and the fact you've posted without searching just shows you
for what you are - extremely lazy.

These groups should be a last resort - after all other avenues have been
exhausted. We help those who have first helped themselves.

This is for your own good. Go and Google.

Cerridwen, Were you born this mean, or did you develop it
later in life. Obvously from the number of messages
regarding OE that are on the Outlook newsgroup, I am not
the only one who was confused about Outlook Express vs
Outlook. They certainly sound the same. I would never be
described as lazy, as you did, by anyone who knows me. I
spent the better part of three days and exausted every
source I could find before encountering an Outlook group.
I had never heard of google.groups. I have recently come
out of an work atmosphere where employees were not
expected to do solve their computer problems but to call
one of our IS experts. So I am still be feeling my way
around and thank goodness most people are helpful. . .not
the negative, judgemental type as you. Did you feel
better after you posted your answer? If your intention
was to hurt, you succeeded. A quote from another posting
in this newsgroup, "Display tolerance & kindness to those
with less knowledge than you because there is ALWAYS
someone with more"
