OE 6 hijacking unread mail

Since getting broadband, tend to do email on line, with my isp and forgot
about OE except when I used a website's link. Recently realised evrytime I
did OE would take unread mail from inbox, so checked. Found 6months of
mail!! Deleted it all but since then find OE is taking all the junk mail my
isp is rejecting. How can I stop this?

Huh? If a message is downloaded into OE, it's on the mail server, period.

Thanks for that, checking your links. This is something that had not
happened before so I wasn't aware it could. Duh...I know thicko me. Fraid I
rely on others and my usual help is on holiday. It was all the spam that I
though had been deleted that was so annoying. Being female I have no need
for the offered wares!!!
