odd printing prob

hi,
i need help! i'm not too literate when it comes to computers, so bare with me. i can't print anything from the internet on my brother hl-1440 printer. everytime i try to print i get either a quarter of a page of info, or half, or even less. sometimes i get numbers and symbols on the top of the page. no matter what i've tried to do i can't fix the prob. i know i must have changed something accidently when i corrected another prob i had with another program (not using the internet) because i used to be able to print. can anyone give me any advise??

If you have any pop up stopper or some security software active, disable see
