Odd decrease in hard disk space

Over the weekend, the Win2K server at work ate up 10 GB of
free space. This has happened once before, but the hard
disk space freed itself up after a day or two. What could
be causing this problem? Any hints? Thank you.

Someone putting files on it!? How about a hacker?
