I have a user who has been having a issue of messages randomly not getting
delivered to his mailbox. I have been searching this issue out for sometime
now, and I've been unable to find an actual answer. Here is some information
on the issue:
Exchange message tracking lists the mail being delivered to the users mailbox.
Happens from all mail, external and internal mail alike.
Happens whether the incoming messages are being sent direct to him or from a
distribution list.
Spam filtering from our spam firewall is not blocking the messages
This user keeps his mailbox extremely organized and moves all of his
messages by hand to sub folders. The user has Zero rules set up, and no Junk
mail defined. I have tried his client with or without Cached Mode, and
checking from OWA. The messages are just plain gone.
I've not yet tried anything I would call extreme: Archiving all mail to a
..PST and deleting the user account and recreating/reimporting. Does anyone
have any other suggestions to try?
I appreciate any/all suggestions
