Hi All,

I have overclocked my video card on the system in my rig, now each time I run 3DMARK 06 I get lots of green lines acrross the screen and the computer crashes and it also takes out the ethernet and sound. Could there be something wrong with the card?

Any ideas,

Thanks,

Wiz

Yep, that's a classic sign that you've OC'd a bit too much :)

Hi V_R & Ian,

Thanks for your reply.

Thought it could be overheating. Since I posted about this, I have set it back to defaults, and now I have run 3DMARK 5 times and it has completed without crashing. I think I will leave set at deafults at the moment.

Thanks,

Straight in? Or did you up it gradually? The 8800 GT's are good oc'ers but thats quite a jump tbh.

Do one at a time, core first, then the shader and lastly the memory, use ATI Tool to test and go up slowly. :)
