Please can someone tell me how I insert an object via a form, I am only able
to do so in table view at present. Also when I insert an object in a table I
cannot open the object when in form view
 
There's a control called a Bound Object Frame. Bind it to you OLE Object
column and you'll have the same functionality you have in the table.
