object behind text and gridlines

How can I order a text box or other drawing object to the back, and behind
the text and gridlines of the spreadsheet?
 
These objects float over the worksheet.

Thanks for the reply. I have been working with the header/footer to work
around the problem. Not very efficient, I am finding.
