O2k3: adding News command to Go menu problem

David R

Hi,
When I try to add the command News (for newsgroups) to my
Go menu in Outlook 2003 it adds it to the menu but when I
close and reboot Outllok 2003 the News command is no
longer there in the menu. When I go to the customise menu
and look under Go command options, the News command is no
longer avaialble to add. How do I solve this problem, as
at present it is not possible for me to check by
newsgroups from within Outlook 2003. Thanks

Make sure Outlook Express is set as your default newsreader (as Outlook uses
OE for this). If the options still can't be added rename outcmd.dat to
outcmd.old to completely reset the Toolbar.
For additonal steps and other options to open the newsreader see;
