Expand the file in the NVIDIA directory NOT the System32 one. Once the file has expanded THEN move it to the System32 folder.

Here is what you need to do. Navigate to the folder nVidia by typing cd c:\drv\vga\nVidia in command prompt while running as administrator.

Then you can type the command expand.exe nvlddmkm.sy_ nvlddmkm.sys. Once that is complete copy and paste from the nVidia folder to the drivers folder.

And it should work!
