Nvidia nForce2/400 ATX

Just installed this board with an athlon 2700+ cpu. I have 2 ide harddrives
(master and slave) on the ide1 slot and my cdrom on the ide2 slot. The
board recognizes the cdrom as a slave. There is nothing else attached to
that. But I cannot find the cdrom either in DOS or when I boot up to
windows98. Win98 starts, but is stopping at finding new hardware and when I
try to use the cdrom, it is not there. Help? TIA

Try to set the jumpers to Master.
