Nvidia MX200

I'm trying to install my Nvidia video card (AGP) on my
IBM pc (Netvista running win2k professional), and every
time I boot up the system I have no display. I can move
my monitor to the motherboard output, bring up my BIOS
screen, and simply save and exit (no changes)--the system
will now come up on the Nvidia MX200 video card. How do
I make the system see the MX200 video card on initial
boot? The drivers are all successfully loaded--it seems
like there is a pointer that doesn't see them during
system boot.

You probably need to either disable the motherboard video in BIOS and/or
set the AGP to primary in BIOS. The manual for your PC should point out
how to do this.

Thanks Bob, I've looked at this solution--there is no way
to disable the motherboard video in BIOS (or on the board
that I can find), and the AGP is already set to primary
in BIOS. I've also tried removing the video card and
booting up a couple of times on the motherboard video,
and then re-installed the Nvidia card--no luck. I'm
running out of ideas. And the Nvidia (Bestdata)
website/support is useless.

I would say the problem lies with the motherboard BIOS and video not
Nvidia. As you say if you enter and exit BIOS the system will bring up
the AGP card. Perhaps there is a BIOS update that will fix this glitch
or at least some pointers at the IBM support site for the Netvista model
you have.
