Nvidia graphics card not recognised

After a problem recently i had to reinstall windows everything ok apart from
the system is not recognising my graphics card. Tried installing the drivers
from the setup cd but to no avail. Anyone help
 
Do you also have onboard video on your mother board? If so turn it off in
the BIOS.
