try the IDE folder X:/nvidia/nforse2k/510/IDE

it won't let me do anything from there because I'm not using a nfarce

The driver download page does not have a link to download the nesscary
drivers to create a floppy disc for the F6 stage of a fresh install of
Windows XP.

I think part of it is that you're trying to find nVidia drivers ...
for the Silicon Image controller! Not going to happen. Might as well get
all upset that Ford doesn't have the parts for your Chevy transmission ...

Try http://12.24.47.40/display/2/kb/article.asp?aid=10469
( tinyurl of http://tinyurl.com/4d67s ) for info on how to make the floppy,
and http://12.24.47.40/utility/getfile.asp?rid=2027 ( tinyurl of
http://tinyurl.com/4ls32 ) for the driver sets for the SATA chips.
Thus, can anyone point me to a link whereby i could download these latest
drivers?

The ones you keep asking for? No. The ones you NEED? Look up
there B)

Tried clicking on the links, but they don't work. :-)
Thanks for all who responded though, p.s. --- i am not looking for the
Sil3512 drivers, but the nVidia.

Err - no, nVidia don't make SATA controllers.

So if you're looking for a SATA RAID driver set for Windows XP, it's
not nVidia.

Dunno why the links don't work for you - I downloaded the driver to
my machine.

Of course, did you right-click the link? Or just left-click it? I
always right-click and select "Save Target As".

Interesting. But if they're not making it then who are they sending their
nforce3 wafers off to for integrating the 2 built-in SATA ports?
