Nvidia Driver Update

Was it a mistake to download Nvidia Display update
released July 28. 2003 ? I downloaded the update
believing it was for a general enhancement of media but
see that it has uses for specialists. Can it cause
problems ? Should I delete it and if so how ?

Yes. As a rule of thumb, NEVER download driver updates from Windows
Update, even for MS devices. Get them through your computer OEM's web
site, or the manufacturer of the specific device web site.
