nvidia driver influences on the messenger

I've just downloaded the newest driver for my graphic
card (Nvidia riva tnt2 model 64) from windows update.
And I notice now that in some programs especially MSN &
Windows Messenger the icons are jammed (every icon in the
messenger's contact list green and has a black thing
instead of the clock in away mode, etc..)
I know rollback can fix the problem but without the new
driver Windows XP works very slow..
Is there something I can do?

Had a similiar problem, I did the Restor thing and it worked. I can do
without upgraded drivers if they are causing problems.

There's nothing you can do but rollback the driver until they release a new driver that fixes
this problem.

Also, drivers are best NOT downloaded from WinUpdate.
Latest driver on www.nvidia.com is Detonator 52.16, released Oct. 23rd.....
