Hi

I have an error comming up just after log on: Error
Loading NvCpl.dll - a DLL intialization routine failed.

I cannot find this file on my OEM Windows XP CD to try and
copy it over - does anyone have any other ideas ???

Thanks

Assuming that you are using an Nvidia display adapter,

If you don't see Nvidia in your Display properties,
settings, advanced, where "driver update" is available
1)through "Nvidia on the internet",
2)Check if it is listed under driver update when you go
Windows Update or
3)goto http://wwww.nvidia.com.

Hi David!
This is a problem of your graphic card.Uninstall it and then
reinstall.Update the driver.

You didn't try my earlier suggestion?
Start | Run and type msconfig, on the startup tab uncheck NvCpl.
