Nv 6800GT to PCIe based ATI card?

Hi!

Currently have a golden sample Gainward NVidia 6800 GT card but is moving to
a PCI-e based system and wonder what to get as I want to move back to my
favorite ATI brand. What is the cheapest current ATI card that will give me
at least the same performance as my current card??

I did exactly the same as you. I got an X1800GTO 256MB. Great card standard
and on some you can unlock the 4 extra pixel pipelines so it will surpass a
6800GT.

X800XL performs about the same as the 6800GT but if I was buying today
I would get an X1900XT for a good performance gain.
