I have a user that is running IE6 SP1 and sometimes (not
all) when the user types in a number like 1234, it comes
out as 4321. I know it sounds weird, I wouldn't believe
it if I didnt see it, but has anyone ever heard of this?

Which OS? If XP open Control Panel applet Regional and Language Options
and look on the Lanuages tab (e.g. under Supplemental language support
there is a checkbox for "Install files for complex script and right-to-left
languages...")

Another possibility (same place) would be having multiple keyboard support
and having the wrong keyboard in effect. Etc.

Good luck
