numberpad on keyboard

Can someone tell me what I push to make my number pad
work that is overlyed with my keyboard. I know you push
the function key + something, but I can't find it on my
dell 8500 laptop.

Just press the "Num Lock" ("Num Lk") key to alternate
between the numbers and standart characters on the
keyboard.
