I am looking to create some bates numbers labeling with Excel. Can anyone help me with this?

I need to know how to do the sequential numbering and then print the labels on sheets with 80 labels. Thanks for your help.

"bates numbers" is a term I know nothing about.

Sequential numbers can be generated by entering a number like 1 in a cell then
right-click and drag then "Fill Series".

As far as labels go........

It could be done in Excel only, but........

Investigate the use of Word's mailmerge feature to get Excel data to labels
and envelopes or Form letters.

Doing it strictly in Excel is difficult and involves much trial and error
formatting.
