numbering pages of multi-page table

I have a table at the end of a document that spans multiple pages. It is a
data sheet that is separated from the document and filled in. I set the table
properties to repeat the rows containing the table title and headers, so that
each page has that information at the top. However, I need to number the
pages of the table so that when it is separated from the document, people
know there is more than one page.
--I can't say "Table Title, Page 1 of 3" because then it would be repeated
on every page and I need the page number to change.
--I can't add the page numbers before or after the table on each page
because that involves breaking the table.
--I can't place it in the header because it numbers based on the document
pages (which I need it to do). I can't simply type it in the header because I
can't have different info on each page.
--I tried to insert a text box but that also repeats one each page.

Does anyone know how I put different page numbers while still repeating the
table rows?

Put the table in a separate section and put the continued title and Page X
of Y information in the page header.
