Hi:
I came here for the first time trying to read others, so that I can
get some issues I have.

However, the threads/posts going to ONLY 'December 20th,'
even though I did '510' by accessing, Tools < Option < read,
and then click '510.'

On this site, 'Help and Support,' there are only 'specific/limited numbers'
to hold for reading?

On other MS grous, such as 'MS General' and 'Performance' there are
much more threads/posts for reading.

Thanks,

No, the limit is rather large and posts are held for many months,
assuming you use the MS server, news://msnews.microsoft.com/

Using Agent and the MS server, I only keep the last 3 weeks messages
and I have 4,300 in this group and 10,400 in General.

You appear to be using the Comcast server. If so, use the MS server
instead.

Hi Alan Edwards:
I went to Tool < Accounts < News and there, I found it 's
'msnews.microsoft.com' inside the box of 'Server.'

My IP is 'Comcast,' but I never use it in any of MS groups
as knowing I can not get MS groups download in the first
place.

It's very strange for me to see this, because there is NO problem on
MS General and other groups, as well. I only get until December 20th,
and last thread is
'Config.' It ddidn't appear any other threads/posts after 'Config' someone
posted, name is 'Napa... ', or close to that name.

Is there something I'm doing wrong, except I put '510' on the box?

Thanks,

Sorry, I don't know what you are doing wrong or what you mean by
putting '510' in a box. Are you only trying to get 510 messages?
If so, that is probably only a few days messages.
I see you are using Outlook Express 6 and I use Agent instead so I am
unfamiliar with your newsreader.
Try the OE6 General newsgroup:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general

Hi Alan Edwards:
Thanks for the response and suggestion.

Yes, ... I did post on O.E. General.

Thanks again.
