Number of prints from a PSC 1410 black cartridge

P

PS

Hi,

I bought a HP PSC 1410 a couple of months back. I have probably taken
about 200+ prints using the black cartridge and it is almost empty.
Just wanted to check how many prints can you expect from a full
cartridge on this printer?

If I remember correctly, the 1410 only takes the 21/22 or 92/93 black
and color tanks (I can never remember which numbers they decide to use
with each printer, both numbers are exactly the same as far as
quality/size). It does not take any 'larger' cartridges, so the next
one you buy will also be 'starter sized'

I use also one pSC 1250, there also it seems that after maximum 200
pages the tank is empty.

Page yield information for recent HP printers is available at
http://h10060.www1.hp.com/pageyield/us/en/index.html. The PSC 1410 is
rated at approximately 190 pages for the black cartridge as shown at
http://h10060.www1.hp.com/pageyield/us/en/PSC1400/index.html Note that
this varies depending on what you are printing and also what modes.
"Econofast" or draft modes typically use about half the ink of normal
and best modes.
