Every Time I open this one data base the keyboard number lock key gets
turned off , Is there any way I can keep it locked on?

Hi John,
No I do not hold down any key when I open this data base

I don't think you understood me. I asked you to go ahead and hold down the
shift key while opening the database. This bypasses an Autoexec macro, if
present, as well as any code that is present in a startup form, if defined.
Keep it pressed down until the database completely opens. If you started with
Numlocks on, does this still get reset to Numlocks off if you bypass all
startup code?

Hi John,

Okay, does your database include a macro named "Autoexec" and/or "Autokeys"?
Do you have a startup form defined (Tools > Startup)? If you have one or both
macros, try temporarily renaming one at a time, to something like zAutoexec
or zAutokeys. If you have a startup form defined, try setting it to None.
Make one change at a time and test the results, starting with the Numlock key
on, of course. This will help you identify which object (macro or form) is
helping to reset your numlock key. Once you identify the guilty object, you
can refine your search for possible causes.
