Number dividing by 100

Tom Myers

Something has happened within my Excel 2000. When I open
a worksheet and go into a cell that is formatted for
numbers and type in say 118 the results are returned as
1.18. No matter what I type in it divides by 100 unless
I manually type in the decimal point as a place holder.
Additionally down in the bottom right of the Excel window
there is a FIX tab showing. Any ideas are appreciated.
FYI when someone else logs into my computer as another
user the Excel behaves normally!

Go to

Tools>Options>Edi

and uncheck Fixed_Decimal_Places. This probably got set by opening a workbook from someone else
