NTLDR is missing

When I try to boot my computer I get this message
that "NTLDR is missing". Any idea what my next step
should be?
 
Hello

Make sure that you do not have a floppy disk in the drive

There is not a floppy in the drive. I actually had some
very important files get deleted from the hard drive and
I have tried the Windows XP disc again and the restore
disc.
 
I have no disc in the drive and I have tried the windows
XP disc and the restore disc and still it says NTLDR is
missing?
