NTLDR IS MISSING

I have been encounting the boot up error of 'NTLDR IS
MSSIING' quite often(about once every 3 month )even
thought my computer is only 9 mth old.
Basic INFO of my comupter : Excelstor J240 40GB harddisk
Athlon 1.7Ghz processor

Go to FIND on the newsgroup and type NTLDR. There are a few posts concerning the console. It enriches the mind to try for yourself.

Hello!
Startup with XP CD ROM Support.When you see the "Welcome
To Setup" screen, you will see the options below
This portion of the Setup program prepares Microsoft
Windows XP to run on your computer:

To setup Windows XP now, press ENTER.

To repair a Windows XP installation using Recovery
Console, press R.


Copy fresh files from the XP CD using the COPY command.
Boot with the XP CD and enter the Recovery Console (as
above). At the Command Prompt type the following
(where "X" is your CD-Rom drive letter) allowing the
files to overwrite the old files
COPY X:\i386\NTLDR C:
COPY X:\i386\NTDETECT.COM C:
