Hello,

I am running windows 2000 on a Dell system and continue to get the NTLDR
is missisng error. I replace the ntldr and ntdetect.com files and
reboot and everything is fine for a while. But a coulple of days or
weeks later it pops up agian. Why does this happen? And How can I get it
to stop? Thanks for your time.

Is your file System NTFS?
Do you periodically defrag?
Is your service pack current?
