NTFS Permissions

I am using an OEM version of WinXp Professional. I have a
single drive, single partition, formatted as NTFS.

I want to set some permissions but when I right-click on a
folder - ANY folder - I don't see the "security" Tab.

I am sure the answer is extremely simple but it has got me
bluffed. Does anyone know the reason?
