ntfs partition permissions

Hi,
I have a partition in which I defined the permissions incorrectly.
I have defined some kind of read permissions for the administrator, and now
I can't access the partition. It says "<Drive>: is not accessible".
Does anyone know how to reset ntfs permissions for a directory?

Would really appreciate some help on this.
Thanks

In windows Explorer you go in on the partition which must have a drive name.
Right Click on that and go for properties - from there on you can set
permissions as you like.

Thanks for your answer,
My problem is that I don't have even access to set properties for that
partition.
So in the limit you can set the permissions so that nowone can see the
partition, not even yourself. Thats what I did accidentally (or I think I
did!).

So, any idea for resetting that permissions?

You have to seize ownership of the problem folders. Click
Start / Help, then search for "ownership" or "permissions".

As long as encryption isn't involved as a local administrator you can take
ownership. Explorer|"folder"|File|Properties|Security|Advanced|Owner and
take ownership.
