NTDS Settings Not Showing All Servers

T

Tim Wells

Hello,

I have a 5 server domain and each server is a DC. I have
DNS set up on only 1 server. When I go into Administrative
Tools/Sites and Services/Default-First-Site-Name/Servers
and expand the NTDS Settings under each DC only 1 of the
five servers shows the other 4 servers. Some of the other
DC's show 2 or 3 other servers and one shows the same
server twice under its NTDS Setting.

If I attempt to replicate from the Sites and Services
dialogue box I get a couple of different responses.
1. The naming context is in the process of being removed...
2. Active Directory Replicated....

I have checked TID 319202 and my DNS server is configured
to allow Dynamic Updates.

I have also verified that the time is correct on all
servers.

Can anyone explain how to fix the issue that all my
servers do not show up under the NTDS settings of the
listed DC's and why the replication error message?

Thank You,
Tim

This is normal, you will not see a full mesh. However make sure that the
servers that are listed are replicating
