NTBackup to file - limit segment size

I want to use NTBackup to backup an XP Pro computer to a file and then burn
the file to DVDs.

The computer doesn't have a DVD burner in it so I will have to transfer the
file to another computer to burn it after creating it in NTBackup. No
problem with all of this. The problem I am having is that NTBackup is making
one giant 15GB file.

Is there a way to tell NTBackup to backup to a file and to limit each
segment to 4GB?

Thanks

No, there isn't. Some third party backup programs, e.g. from Acronis, have
this facility. They also tend to be a lot easier to use than ntbackup.

What is interesting though it that Veritas Backup (on my server) can create
bkf segments of x size that NTBackup can read. I dont know how NTBackup can
read segments, but not create them.

AFAIR ntbackup.exe is a modified version of Veritas Backup. Microsoft
probably removed its ability to limit block sizes.
