Hi,
Having a few problems with NTBACKUP, basically we have
rebuilt an NT4 box, now running 2000, exchange 5.5 with
external DLT1 drive.
All service packs etc are applied, and we are using the
old tapes from the NT4 build.
We perform a full backup nightly, and intermittently it
will fail, and report no unused media, we have the /UM
switch within the script it runs, I have deleted all items
from the media pool, and it will run OK again for several
days, and then fail once more.
When I try and delete the current media pool, it reports
it as being in use, although no tape is in the drive. I am
now a bit lost, I cannot erase the tapes, and cannot
delete the media pool.
I cannot backup anything, exchange or otherwise currently.
Does anyone have any ideas?
