NT Uninstall Files

I have recently installed Windows XP Service Pack 2. I am happy with
it and do not want the ability to uninstall it. So I assume I can
delete the uninstall foilder for the service pack. I also have lots of
uninstall folders for previous (prior to SP 2) windows updates. Can I
just delete those or is there a better way of reclaiming that space?
