NT Problems

I am working on a database, it opens fine via a laptop (with XP loaded onto
it) the database is on a server, however, when I try and ope it via netwroekd
PC (which has NT running on it) I get error 3343 'Unrecognized database
format'.

As I say on the laptop, (even when plugged into the network) it opens fine
but not on the Nt PC's.

Any ideas please

Are they all running the same version of Access? That message is most often
caused by attempting to open a file in a newer version than what you are
running.

Yes both have 97 on them

What happens if you make a copy of the file onto the local system?

Its the same error messgage when I try to open it up on the netwroked PC.

The laptop (XP) is opening up the exact same database on the same server as
the PC (NT) but the pc wont open it up, no matter what I do try and copy it,
export the tables etc into another DB, it just says the same message when i
do anything through the pc (NT), I'm stumped

And you are quite positive that both computers are using Access 97?

Sorry Rick, should not rely on somone else's data, without checking yourself,
the laptop is Access 2000, the PC's only have Access 97, so guess its just a
version/jet issue, sorry for wasting your time.
