What is nt.bat and do I need it? There was a file called nt.bat in
c:\windows\system32, that is no longer there. My machine runs fine without
it, but is the file need for something else?

There are files called autoexec.nt and config.nt. They are only needed
when running DOS programs. You can live with out them. NT.BAT is not
a standard XP file (I don`t have one).

OK, then it was more than likely a part of some spyware that I have removed.
Good to know.

Thanks
