NT Authority/system and system shutdown

Current OS is windows XP. During online session using
dialup receive a message system will shut down under NT
Authority\system. windows must restrart because of RPC
service terminatied unnexpectedy.

Please advise corrective action.

That is the EXACT message i've been getting, 30 second

timer too. HELP!!!

try the following to assist in giving you more time:

Start/run
type shutdown -a
