It certainly does, altho most everyone around here refers to it by the
commercial name of Windows 2000 or abreviated to Win2K

Well I have an MCSE here at my owrk and says it does not exsist :) I know NT
4 was basically the Kernel 4 and NT 5 is Win2k / WinXP but winver say 5 and
build number.
So basically NT 5 is the kernel plus build.

The API call to find your windows version reports NT 5 for Windows 2000 and
NT 5.1 for Windows XP.
