NT 4 Joining a R2 domain

Ok, ok, before you bash, just understand that I'm experimenting, thats all.
I was trying to join Windows NT 4 Workstation to my R2 Domain, but I keep on
getting this error in NT that the domain cannot be located or is not
available.

I have setup AD in pre (windows 2000) mode. I also tried setting up a a pre
windows 2000 computer in AD first then try joining it to the domain but same
result.

NT 4 is running Service Pack 6, what could be causing me from not joining
the domain. My domain name is home.mrdee.com
