NT 4.0 Styled Task Manager

I was using NT 4.0 before I installed Windows XP Professional. My father has
a Laptop issued by his Company and it has windows Xp Prof. I just recently
noticed that my Task Manger (when you press Ctrl+Alt+Delete) only brings up
the Task Manager, whereas before it popped up a menu asking me what I wanted
to do...I would like to have that menu back. It is possible because my father
has that window. (in case you don't know what I mean, it is the window that
says, Users,Shutdown, Task Manager, Log Off,etc... all in one popup box) is
there any way to get it? I am running Windows Xp Prof. SP2,my father has the
same..please any information could help!

You would need to disable the Welcome Screen.

Go to Control Panel and double click User Accounts.
Click on "Change the way users log on or off".
Remove the check mark from the box next to "Use the Welcome
Screen".
Hit the Apply Options button.
Hit Ctrl + Alt + Del.
You should now see the Windows Security dialog.

Keep in mind that this will also change what you see displayed
when you start up or shut down your computer.

Good luck
