NSCheck.exe trying to connect to Internet

I get the message :
"NSCheck.exe trying to connect to Internet"
And the recommendation of my firewall to block the connection ("high risk")
every time I start my computer (broad band connection via television cable)
Does anybody know what "NSCheck.exe" is trying to do? Can I delete something
to stop the daily "attacks"

Thanks for your help. It worked! And an additional bonus is that my
smartphone connection with the PC all of a suddden works!! Great!
